Meet the Ainsworth Team

Jean has over 40 years’ worth of experience in the stoma care industry and has used all she’s learnt to propel Ainsworth Surgical into the business it is today. After working many years to build a solid customer base, Jean has now settled into her HR responsibilities. If she’s not in the office, you’ll bet she’s out enjoying a long walk, playing with her grandchildren or even doing some line dancing!

Andrew is primarily responsible for our continued growth, here at Ainsworth Surgical. He works closely with the full team to ensure we can deliver bespoke stoma care products and supplies to the nation for years to come.

Taking responsibility for our operations is Kelly, who has over 16 years’ experience with stoma care and incontinence products. She makes sure our team are delivering the very best service by providing them with everything they need to do their jobs effectively. When she’s not doing this, she’s preoccupied being the owner of a slightly crazy feline named Ozzy.

Lynn is one of the longest-standing members of the team, dedicating over 25 years to the business. She is responsible for requesting and applying prescriptions, which maintains our high level of personal service to our customers. She also enjoys going to the occasional kite festival and showcasing her own kites!

Gillian has been a Sales Adviser for over 11 years and is now also responsible for the accounts here at Ainsworth Surgical. She takes her role within the business very seriously; except she does also enjoy retelling tales! She never exaggerates, she’s told us so… a million times!

Darryl, or as we like to call him, Daz, is our emergency delivery driver and has often assisted a number of our customers in their moments of need. He has been part of the Ainsworth family for over 13 years and also works as a Customer Advisor.

Responsible for meeting nurses and looking after the onboarding of new customers, Kate’s friendly face has been welcoming patients to Ainsworth Surgical for 8 years. She ensures you have all the advice you need and will also often bakes cakes for the whole office!

Awarded the ‘fastest hand cutter that ever lived’ by the wider team, Jo has been perfecting her craft for 7 years here at Ainsworth Surgical. She spends her time hand cutting the pouches of our customers, to ensure we go that extra mile and bring our customers’ comfort.

It is quite clear when Zoe has entered the building, her character and personality is one that makes the office a fun place to be. Although she is currently on maternity leave, we’re excited to welcome her back!

Dave has been driving for Ainsworth Surgical for over 20 years, although he loves tattoos and painting cars, he’s a softie at heart. Our customers often remark about ‘the lovely dave’ who delivered their package.

Another long-standing member of our team of drivers is Christian. Delivery stoma supplies and products across the UK for over 20 years has led to a number of our customers referring to him as the ‘smiler’! Even when single handedly doing up his own home, he’s got a big grin on his face!

Rob has been a part of our delivery team for 3 years now and has proved to be a dependable driver, ensuring that our customers receive their crucial supplies at a time that suits them. When he’s not out delivery packages, Rob enjoys broadening his chef abilities, he’s a keen cook!

Our newest addition to the Ainsworth Surgical team is Paula, who has been part of our driving team for only a short time but has settled in well (which has nothing to do with the amazing cakes she bakes!).
